Thank You for Making the EWCS Great Canadian Tee Off a Huge Success!

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, East Wellington Community Services (EWCS) hosted our 21st Annual Golf Tournament – The Great Canadian Tee Off — and what an incredible day it was!

Thanks to the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, together we raised an outstanding $24,167 🎉⛳️
That’s $24,167 going directly back into our community, helping EWCS continue to provide essential programs and services to individuals and families in need across the Town of Erin and Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Your Support is Making a Real Difference

Here’s how your contributions help change lives:

  • Food Banks – Providing food support for families and individuals facing food insecurity.

  • Transportation – Offering door-to-door rides and mobility bus access for seniors and residents with mobility challenges.

  • Older Adult Programs – Delivering safe, engaging day programs and personal care services that promote independence and provide caregiver respite.

  • Outreach Services – Helping community members navigate mental health, housing, and financial challenges with personalized, one-on-one support.

  • Youth Programming – Giving local youth a welcoming space to connect, build skills, and access walk-in mental health and employment services through The Grove – Main Place Youth Centre.

Celebrating the Fun on the Course

A special thank you to all the golfers who enthusiastically took part in our on-course activities — from the Putting Contest and Gianni’s Pizza Hole to the Spring Mill Distillery tastings, Photo Booth fun, and more. You helped bring the spirit of the day to life!

Congratulations to all of our contest winners — from best dressed and top scores to hole contests and putting champions! A big shout-out to the lucky winners of our Square Contest prizes, including the sold-out Osprey Valley foursome.

And thank you to everyone who took part in our Silent Auction — your bids helped us reach our goal and brought even more excitement to the day.
