  • EWCS’s Outreach Services helped us get set up with the rent subsidy program which helped reduce some of our costs and allowed us to breathe. It was easier knowing we can support our family better. The entire team have been wonderful and truly make me feel more comfortable with the situation we never thought we’d be in.

  • After attending the day program in Erin with Francesca and her colleagues, mum has become more chatty, active and just seems to be in wonderful spirits when we pick her up. You can see she is engaged, confident and full of fun after the program, which we can only contribute to the kind care and attention of all the wonderful staff there. We often end up singing songs with mum the whole way home, laughing with her. Seeing her like this, helps so very much when watching someone you love, disappear into this Alzehimers void. My family and I are very grateful for this service, the time and patience, the kindness of all of you who make it happen. Thank you

  • I'm a teenager who's been through more agencies and case workers than any kid should. When I had nowhere to go, the school's special resource team connected me with EWCS. They didn't have all the answers, but they promised not to abandon me. They listened to my struggles and worked with me, even when others wouldn't. Thanks to EWCS, I now have mentors and more big sisters than I could imagine! I have a stable home, my own couches, my own bed and my G1!. I'm learning life skills and have even completed my coop placement. They've shown me that with hard work, there's always hope.
