  • I could not have predicted the effect volunteering would have on me. Just to have the opportunity to serve in New To You, meet my neighbours, listen to their stories, share a smile, laugh and perhaps brighten someone’s day. I know the customers brighten my day. It has made me a better person, kinder, wiser, and more patient.

  • My husband and I have lived in Rockwood for 20 years and I never knew that the services provided by EWCS even existed. I did not know there was a food bank or even a need for one here. The more I learned about what this organization does and what an important role the volunteers play in the running of services, I have to admit, I am humbled to be a part of this wonderful group of men and women helping, caring and sharing in our community.
