We operate two food banks, located in Erin and Rockwood, which provide food support throughout the year, a Backpack program in August and a Holiday Hamper program in December. Monetary and food donations from the community are always welcome and can include fresh and frozen foods, personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies.
Monthly Food Hamper Clients receive a monthly food hamper with one week’s worth of groceries. This hamper includes fresh, frozen, canned and dry food as well as hygiene products and pet food when available.
Backpack Program In August, backpacks containing school supplies are distributed thanks to the support of our generous community members for their donations to this program.
Holiday Hamper Clients receive a hamper filled with a festive meal, fresh produce, holiday treats and gift cards to purchase food and a gift for themselves or loved ones.
